Heading back to Death Valley
In just a couple of days, I'll be heading into the desert after far too long away. It was two years ago on this same weekend that I first went to Death Valley. I long for its sweeping landscapes, the quiet, the cracked textures and pale colors, and the saturation of stars in the desert sky. I rather need it actually. A few days of exploring and walking and being disconnected. I'm ready to leave now.
Since I won't be around for a few more days, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

ReplyDeleteIt was cold, but very pretty! We stay at Wildrose Campground. It's a little off the beaten path, but perfectly delightful. :D
