Photo Friday - Christmas at Disneyland

Disneyland Nov. 2009

I'm going to Disneyland to see the Christmas decorations this weekend. Hopefully. It's cliche, but I find the place extra magical this time of year.

  1. This might be heresy or blasphemy or something but I have never been to Disneyland.

  5. Great shot. Twinkly lights always make me happy and Disneyland has plenty of those!

  6. Oooh! This photo is great, but I bet seeing all of Disneyland decked out for the holidays would be amazing! Hope you made it there over the weekend.

  8. I decided to be sick this weekend instead, so I didn't get to go - but next weekend!

And it really is extra enchanting at the holidays. You can buy a cup of hot cocoa and stroll around the quiet areas of the park, admiring the lights. Snow even falls in Main Street and around the castle. I enjoy it!

  9. Which areas of the park are the quietest?

  10. The part between Fantasyland and Toon Town is very quiet. There's an auditorium that is for a Princess show, but it's empty in between. Frontierland is also very quiet during the fireworks (well, besides the sound of fireworks), and during the day, the walkway beside Sleeping Beauty's castle (where Snow White's fountain is) is usually pretty empty. :)

But if you're there on a weekday morning/early afternoon this time of year - I've seen other people's photos with no people in them!
